INSTRUCTIONS FROM OUR BISHOP

Because the World Health Organization is holding the current pandemic level at 6, The Diocese of Toronto has issued the following directives to its churches concerning
- acceptable methods of receiving wine at the Eucharist and
- Passing the Peace
in response to pastoral concerns expressed by some Anglicans.

Please adhere faithfully to these new instructions based on your personal comfort level until further notice and contact the clergy with any questions or concerns!
- If you would prefer not to receive the wine, receiving the bread alone is acceptable within the Anglican Church.
- If you help the person administering the wine by directing the cup, please use only the base of the chalice.
- If desired, the peace can be exchanged with a simple nod of the head instead of a handshake - the choice is yours! Remember, the symbolism of being at peace with one another while showing respect for one another is really what the exchanging of the peace is all about in our worship!
